Our Contract
These Terms and Conditions govern the supply of goods sold by Sunny Electrical Supplies of 61 Corporation Street, Walsall, ("we" and "us") to the customer named on the order form provided on the Sunny Electricals website ("you"). Together with the completed order form, these Terms and Conditions constitute the entire and only agreement between us in relation thereto. Our acceptance of your order by delivery of the goods constitutes a legally binding contract between us on these terms and conditions.
Price & Payment
The price payable for the goods you order is as set out on our website at the time you place your order, plus any charges for carriage as set out in the order form.
Delivery & Availability
Goods are available for despatch within 7 working days of receipt of order. Goods that are out of stock may take up to 14 working days of receipt of order. In the unlikely event of goods taking longer than the 14 working day period you will be contacted by a customer service representative who will give the option for the order to be cancelled if the lead time is unsuitable without penalty to the consumer.
Cancellation & Returns
You may cancel your order by giving us notice of cancellation before despatch. Such notice may be given by mailing, faxing or emailing to the number or address set out on the order form. If you are cancelling because of any problem with the goods, please notify us of the problem at the time of cancellation.
- Returns Policy:
To return goods for any reason please call or E-mail customer services department who will give you a returns authorisation number relating to the purpose of the return to be displayed on the parcel. Goods without a returns authorisation number will not be accepted. Goods returned must be returned in their original condition and packaging and cannot have been installed or modified in any way. Goods can only be returned within 7 days from the date of receipt of the delivery. Goods must be returned at the expense of the consumer by registered means. Goods returned for reasons relating to a fault will be returned to the consumer at the cost of Sunny Electricals Supplies, as long as they conform to the relevant criteria (see warranty). Goods returned for no valid reason i.e fault or defective etc or for reason of over ordering, goods may incur a handling charge of up to 40% dependant on which goods are being returned.
- Warranty:
All products with the exception of lamps (light bulbs) carry a 1 year return to base warranty (See returns policy). In the event of a fault occurring, the product will be repaired or replaced according to the nature of the fault. The warranty applies to electrical components only and is void if deemed that the fitting has been incorrectly fitted or suffered abuse in a manner not intended for the purpose supplied.
Liability
If you have notified us of a problem with the goods, we will either make good any shortage or non-delivery; replace any goods that are damaged or defective upon delivery; or refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question. We will not be liable to you for any loss of profits, administrative inconvenience, disappointment, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem in relation to the goods and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than any refund we make under these conditions. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
We shall have no liability to you for any failure or delay in supply or delivery or for any damage or defect to goods supplied or delivered hereunder that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (including, without limitation, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes).
- Installation:
A qualified electrician must install all products supplied. All products must be earthed where necessary. The mains supply must always be isolated prior to installation.
N.B. incorrect installation can deem warranty void. (See warranty).
Installation accessories such as screws and raw plugs etc are not supplied.
Liability will not be accepted for any personal damages such as electrocution due to improper installation.
Your statuary rights are not affected.
General
If any part of these conditions is invalid, illegal or unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the validity, legality or enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected. This contract shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law.
VAT
All prices include VAT at 20% subject to changes in taxation.

At Sunny Electricals we are committed to the protection of your privacy. We collect information about you to accurately process your order and provide you with the service you expect. All information is stored in accordance of the Data Protection Act. We will contact you during the processing of your order to ensure both parties are informed of the status. Your details will not be passed on to any other party. You can check the information we hold about you by logging into the members’ area of our website. We may in future send you a copy of our newsletter. If you do not wish to receive this please email us and we will remove you from our list.
